My own experience of professional practice is very little as I have only been in the field of work for 3 years.
Currently I am the only conveyancer for the small firm in Kingaroy which is Woods Murdoch Solicitors.
In this line of work I deal with large amounts of money which go into the millions along with writing out cheque that are in the high thousands.
I handle contracts which are a simple 35 days settlement to contracts that going over 12 months. Water allocation, prioirty notices, extensions, early possession are all topics I have to handle on a day to day basis.
Professional practise is essential in this line of work. I have a procedure and specific requirements that I must comply with otherwise the sale or purchase of a property wont go through and could case the firm I work with serious consequences.
